Brenda's comments.

(Sometimes, a hug is all we need).

Free hugs is a campaign started out by the founder, Juan Mann. A man whose sole mission was to reach out and hug a stranger to brighten up their lives.

Initially, i didn't know what was all these free hugs campaign and movement was about until i got this topic for blogging and decided to read it up.

I personally am very supportive with the free hugs campaign, this is because i felt that what Juan Mann has done really made a difference in someone elses life. I never thought that how a simple action or gesture one can do would make another feel like there is always someone there for you.

In my opinion, everyone have got their own problems, difficulties and obstacles to overcome. We might think that our life is bitter and unfair, but we never have thought that another person out there might be living off even worse than us. We people always complain about how unlucky and unfortunate we are leading our lives, we usually take things for granted and we are usually still not satisfied despite the fact that we are all leading high-quality lives.

The first person who stopped, tapped me on the shoulder and told me how her dog had just died that morning. How that morning had been the one year anniversary of her only daughter dying in a car accident. How what she needed now, when she felt most alone in the world, was a hug. I got down on one knee, we put our arms around each other and when we parted, she was smiling.

Help can be given in different forms. The most usual form would be monetary means. Some might say that 'money makes the world goes round', however i think that it is not entirely true because i believe that money can't buy happiness.

I can't help but to admit that Juan Mann's actions for the free hugs campaign have deeply impacted me and have gained my utmost respect.
